The Global Virtual Photography Gallery

How does it work?

You create a slideshow of your work and show it virtually using doshebu's presentation software (powered by Webex).

You have 1 hour

You can create a slideshow of as many photographs as you want to show, but limit the time it takes to show the photographs and talk about your work to one hour.

What photographs can I show?

  • A collection of your best or favourite photographs
  • A trip to one location
  • A themed collection of shots
  • A collection that you've already displayed
  • Shots of your local area that let others see what it looks like to live there

How do I talk with the audience?

You can talk, chat, and video link with the audience over the Internet, just like Skype or Google Talk.

Your guests are muted when they enter the space. You can instant message them and they can send questions and respond to your messages using the built-in instant message function in the software.

What do I need?

  • A slideshow of your work (there is free software available if this is your first show)
  • A computer with speakers and a microphone (or a headset)
  • An Internet connection

How do I become an exhibitor?

  1. Send an e-mail to slorimer@doshebu.tv with a link to your work.
  2. You will receive an e-mail back letting you know if there is space in your time zone.
  3. Once you are confirmed as an exhibitor you will be contacted for a demonstration of the software. You can test your slideshow and any other items you need (like music) for the show at the test.

I don't want to exhibit. How do I visit the virtual gallery?

Visit the Longitude Gallery Registation page and select the gallery you want to visit.
